About Coinye West: New Virtual Currency

There are plenty of digital currencies out there for those of us fed up with the boring old paper kind bank produced and backed by the government. 

Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple, Peercoin, Namecoin, and Dogecoin, too are officially yesterday’s news. There is a cryptocurrency debuting on January 11 called Coinye West, underpinned by a common-sense goal: To make digital currencies more accessible to a less technical audience.

The Coinye West system, its developers said, will use a different algorithm from Bitcoin’s that will let people use their home computers to acquire Coinye West coins instead of having to go out and buy expensive, specialized hardware. The name of this mining software will be "Gold Digger," the developers said.
